...well, he's not relly, but he is old ;-)
Having just celebrated his 60'th brithday this past week, so Saturday night we were all treated to a meal at Top Meadow golf club/restaurant. Close family only mind, so all in all there were about 25 of us, including my aunt and uncle who live in Peterbrough.
The place had a wonderful view over some lovely fields, and where me and C were sitting, we could see it all as the sun started to set, and it was absolutely gorgeous, C kept wanting to run outside to take pictures, but alas we had a meal to eat.
The food was really nice, though the service was a little bit lacking. Weeks and weeks ago we’d had to place our orders for the meal from a set menu, however come the night, things were a little chaotic to say the least, as no one could really remember what they had ordered, and seeing as my mum was the only with the list, well you can imagine, food was arriving, and shouts were going out for someone to claim their food. Apart from that, as I said, the food itself was really nice. A bit later on in the evening and they had singer their, and a smallish dance floor, but we did manage to get in a couple of dances before calling it a night at around 23:00.
