This is more than a little overdue so here goes.
Had a lovely break in Denmark, spending a few days with C’s parents on Roemoe, a little island of the west coast of DK. No really much to do there, but it was very scenic. The beaches, and yes there are beaches in DK, went on as far as you could see in all directions, and according to her dad, when the tide is completely out, you can actually drive from this island to another one.
Anyway, as I said had a lovely few days there, saw a little more of DK, we went to a little village where one of the crown princes has a palace, a gift to him on his 9th birthday (that’s one hell of a prezzie). Very beautiful village, cobbled streets and all.
Alas, we didn’t have time to go to a Viking museum in Ribe, which is one of the oldest towns in DK, and very much reminded of the museum village in Aarhus.
After those few days, we took the train back to Aarhus, after stopping of to see some pretty huge statues of men sitting down, and just relaxed for the rest of week, was too damn hot to do much anything else.

You are absolutely right, holiday is overdue. :-p
Glad you enjoyed DK, it's not a bad place to hang out, when the weather is right. Heck, it only rains 121 days a year, average.
Thanks QT.
Hmmm, 121 days of rain, don't sound too bad, leaves 244 days of no rain, more than enough.
