Ruined weekend.

It’s Monday morning, and here I am back in work when I should be in Denmark with C, enjoying myself and relaxing, but alas, that aint gonna happen.

So, here I am. Hopefully they’ll let me have next Monday and Tuesday off instead, just really didn’t want to be home alone today and tomorrow, the weekend was almost bad enough and fairly miserable. Though in all fairness it could have been a lot worse.

Saturday I went to a place called Timbuk2’s with my sister and nephew. It’s basically a big kid’s play area thing, with lots of different climbing frame, slides and stuff, and Thomas absolutely loved it. He just ran around, climbing up, jumping in the ball pits going down the slides, a complete and utter little nutter, and of course with my sister pregnant she needed someone to go with her to watch Thomas, make sure he didn’t get hurt. Well, I enjoyed it as well, though it was quite hot in there, and by then end of the two hours you get, I was very hot. After that, we went back to my sisters, and I read some Thomas the Tank Engine books to my nephew (after he insisted), and he let me have one of his ‘Cars’ ice lollies before settling down to watch Bob the Builder. After having a bit of his birthday cake that was left from the week before, I decided to head home, at which point Thomas became sad saying “No, Tony” and hanging his head, kids, so sweet and cute.

Yesterday, went to the gym in the morning, for the final time at Bannatynes, our membership there has finally come to an end, and next Monday we start at a new gym, a council owned one, that has got the good Lifefitness cardio and weight machines. After lunch I went to my parents for dinner as I just didn’t want to be home alone. Whilst there, I sort of talked my parents into getting Sky TV again, as they’re offering free broadband to their subscribers, and with the base Sky subscription only costing £15, it would be the same as they’re currently paying for just an internet connection. After thinking about for a bit, thought it would make sense for ourselves as well, so I’ve registered my interest, and we’ll see what happenes.
