Ahh valentines day, the day of love, oh sorry, that should say the day of overpriced flowers/chocolates and corporate greed.
It's supposed to be about your love for that special someone in your life, yet we're almost brainwashed into thinking that we must go out and spend a small fortune on gifts and flowers for that person, is that really what love is, what it means for most people?
Not me, if it's supposed to be about love, then surely the smallest little thing, if from the heart, should mean everything to your partner. Instead of going out and buying over-priced flowers, chocolates, jewellery etc, why not write your loved a poem, doesn't matter how good or bad it is....as long as it's from the heart.
