Monday morning we woke up to a wondrous sight. All the twats that had been parking around the grass edge on the access roads in our flats had been clamped. Notices had gone up the Friday before informing everyone that clamping would be enforced, and numerous letters had been sent out to all residents in the previous several months informing people of the parking rules within the flats. But a number of people decided that they were above the rules.
Well, now they’re not. About half a dozen or so cars were clamped, and since then the area has been clear of cars…mostly. It would seem as though one or two people haven’t quite got the message. Well if those people continue to park where they are, I may just have to report them to the clamping company.
Every single person their should know the rules, one allocated space per flat with no visitor parking within the grounds. Whilst that maybe sounds harsh, there is a public car park opposite where we live.
Got my parking permit on Tuesday, as they will eventually be clamping anyone in a parking bay who is not displaying a permit. The letter that came with it once again explained the rules regarding parking within the grounds. It also went on about people having put up their own satellite dishes, this is totally unnecessary as there is a communal dish. The letter basically said that anyone who still has their dish up, which again is a breach of the lease, after the 25/08/06, that it will be removed by them, with the cost of the removal added to that persons annual service charge.
It appears as though the management company, CPM, has finally decided to get tough with those residents who blatantly flout the rules. So for once I will say well done to CPM.
