So tired now,
With night after night of restless sleep
No respite given from the chaos of life
How I yearn for the sandmans embrace
A full busy day
Since the crack of dawn
Night is once again upon me.
Yet already I know
It will not give what I desire
As my eyelids fight to remain closed
My mind whirs with a thousand thoughts
Sleep nothing more than a distant illusion
Now the middle of the night
And here I sit, reading a book, watching TV
While the rest of the world sleeps
One question on my mind
What must I do to break this insomnia curse?
